Great to meet you!

I am experienced in working with children to adults in individual and group settings within hospitals, schools, and state agencies. When I engage with clients, I come with active listening and empathy to assist with becoming comfortable to participate in therapy. I graduated from Baruch College Mental Health Counseling program and have a history working with children, adolescents, adults within school, hospital, and private practice settings.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have a person-centered approach is employed as the foundation with the style of being integrative and collaborative because you know you best. The goal of my role is to hold a position of support, adding language to further describe your lived experiences, help clarify your values, teach emotional literacy, develop solutions to problems, and identify strengths - all to work towards being your own healer.

What you can expect from our first session

Being able to practice emotional literacy and validating your own emotions is incredibly significant to how we as people respond in all areas of functioning. I want individuals to experience empathy and recognition for their internal emotional experience, where you experience support and a space to further develop skills and self-awareness.
