Great to meet you!

I started my career in behavioral health 18 years ago, working with children on the autism spectrum. I fell in love with the helping profession and went on to graduate college with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. After working in the child welfare and mental health fields, I earned a master’s degree in social work and practiced 3000 hours of clinical therapy. I am now a fully licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). My work and life experience have taught me that each client’s needs are unique and complex. I work collaboratively with you to integrate traditional therapy techniques, evidence-based somatic skills, and spiritual wellness to help you reach your desired goals and healing.

My approach to therapy

I treat ages eleven years old to adults with specialties in clients who have experienced the following: Trauma/PTSD, family stress, grief/loss, disordered eating, depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, faith transition, abuse/neglect, and sexual trauma.

I take a combined approach using treatment modalities like Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness and more.

I do my best to stay informed and practice research-based care. I strive to remain humble and culturally competent, treating you, the client, as the expert in your own experience.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect warm, safe, and trusting atmosphere, there will be laughing, emotional release, deep trauma work, and before closing a session, we will collaborate on a strengthening goal or plan for self-care and grounding.

I believe in the human capacity for change and I am committed to providing strength-based therapy and whole-soul healing for you or your loved ones.
