Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist with experience in both hospital and outpatient settings, working with individuals navigating mood challenges, anxiety, life transitions, and the everyday weight that can come with trying to hold everything together.

I approach therapy as a collaborative and honest space where you don’t have to filter or perform. I’ll meet you where you are, while also helping you gently look at patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck. I value real conversations, consistency, and creating an environment where you feel understood, supported, and able to show up fully as yourself.

My goal is to help you build insight, feel more grounded, and move toward a life that feels more manageable, aligned, and genuinely yours.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is both practical and insight-oriented. I use evidence-based tools like CBT and DBT to help you manage current symptoms, build coping skills, and create more stability in your day-to-day life. At the same time, I believe lasting change comes from understanding the deeper roots of those patterns, so I also incorporate psychodynamic and experiential approaches to explore how past experiences, relationships, and emotions are shaping your present.

I’m an emotion-focused therapist, which means I help clients connect to, understand, and work through their emotional experiences rather than avoid or push them aside. I aim to create a space where you can safely process what’s coming up, while also learning how to regulate and respond to it in a way that feels more in your control.

My style is collaborative, direct, and supportive. I’ll meet you with empathy and honesty, help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, and work alongside you to create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a mix of structure and real conversation. The first portion will cover the required intake pieces—your history, current concerns, and things like confidentiality and your rights as a client. It’s not the most exciting part of therapy, but I keep it as streamlined as possible so we can get to what actually matters.

The second half shifts into you—what’s bringing you in, what’s been weighing on you, and what you want to get out of therapy. We’ll start identifying goals and getting a feel for how we work together.

I’m very upfront that therapy is a process. The first session is about laying the groundwork, and it typically takes a couple sessions to really build momentum and feel like we’re getting into the deeper work. What I prioritize from the start is creating a space that feels genuine, safe, and grounded—where you don’t have to filter yourself and can show up as you are.

My goal is to build a strong, honest therapeutic relationship so we can do meaningful work that actually leads to change.
