Great to meet you!

Hey there, feeling stuck? I help you break self-critical patterns during life transitions so you can rebuild trust in yourself and move forward with clarity. You may be dealing with anxiety, overthinking, identity shifts after divorce or recovery, relationship patterns, or analysis paralysis. You'll gain awareness of what keeps you stuck, relief from self-criticism, confidence in decisions, and a more stable sense of self.

My background:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Missouri
  • 20+ years working with adults in transition and emotional growth (ya know, the messy stuff)
  • Training in CBT, ACT, DBT, addiction/recovery, grief, trauma, ADHD
  • Experience supporting recovery, identity work, and relationship dynamics
  • Ongoing education in evidence-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed care

I bring both clinical skill and a real, human approach to this work and this space. You won’t be talked at or analyzed from a distance. You’ll be met, understood, and supported in a way that feels real. You will laugh, you will cry, you will cuss... and, you will heal. We’re in this together.

My approach to therapy

I work with adults who are trying to make sense of where they are and how they got here.

You might be:

  • Adjusting to a new role like stepmom or partner in a blended family
  • In a healthier place than before but still feeling stuck internally
  • Struggling with self-doubt, overthinking, or harsh inner criticism
  • Moving through grief, divorce, or a major life transition
  • Wanting to trust yourself but not quite knowing how

Therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard, and held. A space where you can finally slow down enough to understand yourself differently and practice being you.

Because the goal is not just to cope better. It’s to stop feeling like you’re constantly working against yourself.

In our work together, we will:

  • Notice the patterns that keep showing up
  • Understand where they come from
  • Shift how you relate to your thoughts and emotions
  • Build a stronger sense of self-trust and clarity

What you can expect from me

First sessions with me as fairly casual, we are getting to know each other. We'll discuss what brought you here, what you hope to gain, and how we will best work together. My approach is insight-driven and action-oriented using CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, attachment-based work, and parts work. We don't just talk about what's happening; we slow it down, identify the pattern, and shift how you respond so real change happens. This work helps you see patterns clearly, feel them enough to care, and choose something different so you can stop repeating cycles.
