Great to meet you!

Beyond my professional experience, I'm a dedicated husband and father of two sons, and share my life with a wonderful dog, Bailey. My military background has instilled in me a deep sense of commitment and resilience. Most importantly, I genuinely value human connection and approach therapy with warmth and empathy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in the belief that resilience and connection are key to healing. With a background in social work and experience supporting the military community, I understand the challenges of trauma, transition, and maintaining healthy relationships.

I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-focused care. ACT supports values-based living; CBT offers practical tools to shift unhelpful thoughts and behaviors; and trauma-focused work helps process the past to create space for growth.

I specialize in couples counseling and value the foundational role relationships play in overall well-being. Whether we’re working individually or as a couple, I aim to create a safe, collaborative space where we can explore your values, strengthen communication, and move toward the life and relationships you want.

What you can expect from me

Clients often walk away with:

  • Greater clarity around values, beliefs, and behavioral patterns
  • Tools for resilience, including CBT and ACT-based strategies to manage emotions and stress
  • Improved relationships, through better communication and deeper connection
  • Healing from trauma, with support to process difficult experiences and set healthy boundaries
  • Renewed purpose, by aligning actions with what matters most
