Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Jeremy, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My path to this work has been anything but traditional, shaped by a career as a U.S. Army veteran and years as a field engineer in the global tech industry.

Through the challenges of military deployments, the pressures of corporate travel, and the complexities of raising a family through it all, I’ve gained a profound understanding of what it means to be human in a demanding world. My clinical experience spans psychiatric hospitals, Emergency Rooms, Non-Profit Community Mental Health Centers, Medical Clinics, and My own private practice. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families, from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and the spectrum of human experiences. This journey is constantly developing a blend of therapy and real-world perspective to help shape change and new directions for everyone that I am privileged to encounter.

I help clients navigate life's hardships and challenges using a unique ability to shift the views of lived reality into a more flexible and less limited view of what is possible, helping you find clarity and resilience on your own journey.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is experiential and symbolic, focusing on how the meanings we assign to our experiences shape how we manage life's challenges. I avoid clinical jargon in favor of a personalized dialogue that helps you gain a fresh perspective on your identity and purpose.

While we all navigate the world using tools learned from our past, those same strategies can and do sometimes become obstacles to our growth. My goal is to support you when existing coping mechanisms are no longer sufficient. By focusing on you as a whole person, we will work together to develop new ways of experiencing the world and achieving your desired changes. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you navigate this journey.

What you can expect from me

Our sessions are centered around helping you build and implement new, effective approaches to replace strategies that are no longer serving you. All problem-solving methods originate from prior experiences, have usually been successful, and are difficult to change; that is where my role in your journey becomes important.

A key component of our work involves practicing new skills in a supportive, judgment-free environment. You can expect to develop new internal dialogue patterns and learn how to effectively shift perspectives, empowering you to reframe challenges and make meaningful changes in your life.
