Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I'm Dr. Jeremy Reichert, and I hold a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. It is my passion and privilege to help individuals navigate anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma, and addiction with compassion and respect. I am also committed to helping clients explore the deeper existential, spiritual, and/or religious dimensions of life, when requested, as they pursue purpose, identity, and personal growth. My approach is grounded in evidence-based, empirically supported counseling methods, integrating science while honoring each person's unique experiences, values, and goals. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they pursue healing, resilience, and lasting growth.

My approach to therapy

I believe that effective counseling begins with a genuine therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and collaboration. My approach is integrative and evidence-based, combining contemporary psychological science with individualized care that respects each client's unique experiences, values, and goals.

Treatment is informed by neuroscience and an understanding of how the brain, emotions, relationships, and life experiences shape thoughts, behaviors, and overall well-being. I draw from person-centered principles to create a safe, supportive environment while incorporating attachment theory to better understand how early relationships influence present patterns of thinking, feeling, and connecting with others.

Because every individual is unique, I tailor treatment using empirically supported interventions that best address each client's concerns. These may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based approaches. When clinically appropriate, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) may be incorporated to help clients process and recover from traumatic or distressing experiences.

Whether addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship challenges, or questions of purpose and identity, my goal is to provide compassionate, research-informed care that promotes healing, resilience, and lasting personal growth.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a comprehensive, semi-structured interview designed to better understand their unique experiences, concerns, and goals. This collaborative conversation provides an opportunity to share what is most important to them and what has led them to seek counseling, helping lay the foundation for personalized and meaningful care.
