Great to meet you!

  1. Hi, I'm Dr. Jeri Devale. If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, ADHD, family conflict, addiction, grief, or major life changes, you're not alone. You may feel like you're constantly trying to keep everything together while quietly struggling on the inside. With more than 26 years of experience, I work with adolescents, adults, older adults, and families to create a supportive space where you can feel understood, regain your footing, and begin moving toward the life you want. My background includes a Doctor of Psychology from San Diego University of Integrative Studies and a Master of Arts from Lindenwood College. Throughout my career, I've helped people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, substance use, ADHD, grief, identity exploration, family challenges, and life's many transitions. I also support clients facing women's and men's issues, bipolar disorder, OCD, chronic health conditions, infertility, postpartum concerns, and end-of-life issues.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership. My approach is empowering, open-minded, and creative, with every session tailored to your unique experiences and goals. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck while building practical tools to help you create meaningful change in your daily life. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), mindfulness-based therapies, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and other approaches depending on what best fits your needs. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your resilience, improve your relationships, and feel more confident navigating life's challenges.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and it's completely normal to feel nervous or unsure about what to expect. Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a comfortable, relaxed environment.

We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, explore the challenges you're facing, discuss what's most important to you, and begin identifying goals that feel realistic and meaningful. You don't have to have everything figured out or know exactly where to start, that's what we'll work through together.

My hope is that you'll leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and confident that you have a partner who is genuinely invested in helping you move forward!
