Great to meet you!

I am a Christ-centered man who is a husband, father, grandfather, retired Army senior enlisted leader, and provider of Mental Health and Christian counseling. Since 2022, much of my focus has been in the areas of Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, and grief. I’ve worked with men and women from all walks of life and backgrounds with an attentive ear, empathy, and a desire to not just pull you out of the mire, but get in there with you so we can escape it together.

My approach to therapy

I use a holistic approach when it comes to therapeutic interventions which include Trauma-informed traditional Talk Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and other interventions with psychoeducation on the how's and why's of what we do and discuss.

I know that we are more than a brain in a head. We are mind, body, and spirit and our complete healing or restoration comes by addressing all the parts of who we are, how we see ourselves, how we see others, and how we view the world we live in through our unique lenses.

We will move at your pace in our exploration and journey to wholeness, but I do not intend to have you stick with me for years. I believe that when you have addressed the issues you want to address, you don't HAVE to stay with me and I will encourage you to seek other therapists if we simply don't click or reach an impasse in your growth,

What you can expect from me

In our first couple sessions, you can expect some industry standard questions which help in developing a baseline of your mental health as we begin. I will get to know you and your goals, and you will have opportunity to ask me questions about anything you may feel uneasy or unsure about. I don't expect your complete vulnerability day one, but I do expect for you to feel safe, seen, and heard.
