Great to meet you!

I’ve worked in mental health for over 15 years and earned my MSW from UConn in 2014, followed by my LCSW licensure. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach—my goal is to help you discover coping skills, communication patterns, and relationships that move you from just surviving to truly thriving. Often, the traits you see as flaws are actually strengths—even superpowers—when understood differently. I don’t see people as broken; sometimes we just lose track of our path and need someone real to walk alongside us as we find our way back. I work best with people navigating life transitions—marriage, divorce, parenting, aging, all the messy stuff that can make you forget who you are. Together, we’ll figure out what actually helps you, not what a textbook says should.

My approach to therapy

Therapy that is less like a doctor's appointment and more like coffee with that friend that gives the best advice but has no filter. It's never one way like an interrogation, this is two people with me is more coffee with that friend who has no filter and no shame over her own experiences. I bring sarcasm, amusing stories, witty retorts and a little dark humor (did i mention huility?). Instead of pouring your heart out, so you can step on it until your spending 3 days a week half catatonic on the coach, your going to leave sessions feeling lighter. real change doesn’t happen when you feel like you’re being graded., it happens when you finally feel understood.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with me is less like a doctor’s appointment and more like coffee with that blunt, funny friend who just seems to “get it”. It’s never a one-way interrogation—I share stories, sarcasm, and the occasional dark joke (humility included). You won’t be pouring your heart out just to feel worse afterward; instead, you’ll leave feeling lighter, less stressed, and more understood. Real change doesn’t come from being graded—it happens when you finally feel seen, heard, and start seeing the humor around us.
