Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jerrick. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys helping people work through life’s ups and downs in a way that feels real and manageable. I work with concerns like anxiety, depression, PTSD, self-esteem, and relationships, and I focus on creating a space where you can be yourself without judgment. My style is supportive, honest, and practical—we’ll work together to build tools that actually fit your life. My goal is to help you feel more confident, balanced, and in control of your next steps.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and practical. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, heard, and actively involved in the process, so we’ll work together to understand what’s going on and create goals that make sense for your life. I often use techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to help you build awareness, challenge unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier ways of coping. I also value accountability and growth, so I’ll gently challenge you when needed while still meeting you with empathy. My goal is to help you gain the tools and confidence to navigate challenges both inside and outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a relaxed and supportive environment where we focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk through your current concerns, your goals, and any important background that helps me understand your experience. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—I move at your pace. Together, we’ll begin identifying what you’d like to work on and outline a plan that feels realistic and helpful. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, comfortable, and hopeful about the process moving forward.
