Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, depression, relationship stress, trauma, or major life changes begin affecting your daily life. If you're feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, therapy can offer a space to slow down, gain clarity, and move toward meaningful change. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress management challenges, PTSD, relationship concerns, and women's issues, helping them build practical skills while creating lasting emotional growth. Throughout my career, I have also gained valuable clinical experience working with both men and women experiencing substance use disorders, giving me a deeper understanding of the complex relationship between mental health, trauma, recovery, and resilience. While I am not currently providing substance use treatment through my practice, that experience continues to inform the compassionate, nonjudgmental care I provide.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your unique experiences rather than a one size fits all process. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences that may be contributing to the challenges you're facing while identifying practical tools that help you move forward with greater confidence. My approach integrates Strength Based Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing to help clients develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen emotional resilience, improve relationships, and process difficult experiences. Whether you're navigating overwhelming stress, healing from trauma, managing anxiety or depression, or working through life transitions, my goal is to help you create meaningful and sustainable progress that extends beyond our sessions.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very first session. I understand that beginning therapy takes courage, and I strive to provide a warm, welcoming environment where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. We'll work together at a pace that feels comfortable while building practical strategies that fit your everyday life and long term goals. I believe lasting change happens through trust, collaboration, and consistent support, and I am committed to helping you recognize your strengths while developing the confidence and skills to navigate life's challenges long after therapy ends. Whether you're seeking relief from current struggles or looking to build a healthier future, we'll create a path forward together.
