My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborate process. This is done by with building a partnership with the client where discussion, listening, and problem solving including an exchange or ideas play an intricate part of therapy. In addition the process includes utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy which involve skills training, learning relaxation techniques, building communication skills, addressing faulty thinking and learning behavior modification and addressing automatic negative thoughts and replacing them with more realistic and positive think.

What you can expect from me

The first session usually involves an evaluation and a limited inquiry into the history of the patient's condition. However, what is also usual included is some clinical work which my involve homework to be discussed during the second session
