Great to meet you!

I am a Georgia native who spent over 25 years in a different field while raising my four children. During that time, I completed my degree and social work licensure at Valdosta State University and gained practical experience in multiple Valdosta agencies. After retiring from my previous career, I am now stepping into my dream work as a therapist, bringing life experience that helps me understand the real ups and downs of everyday life.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a thoughtful conversation with someone trained to listen deeply, reflect honestly, and respond with care. My background allows me to be a grounded, relatable therapist who sees your whole story. I am ready to help you explore what may be holding you back and support you in creating meaningful change. I use an eclectic, evidence based approach that pulls from several trusted modalities, always tailored to your unique needs, values, and context so our work fits you, not the other way around.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will get to know each other, focus on what brought you here, and collaborate to define clear goals for your therapy. Together, we will work at a pace that feels safe for you, and I will walk alongside you as you move toward the outcomes and life you truly want.
