Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jessie, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree from St. Thomas University. I'm also a supervisor for students completing their Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I’ve been practicing since 2007 and truly love the work I do.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teens, adults, couples, and older adults—and I’ve learned something meaningful from every stage of life. My approach is grounded in respect, empathy, and collaboration, and I genuinely believe that each client brings unique wisdom that helps me grow as a therapist. I’m here to support you through your journey with honesty, compassion, and a commitment to helping you reach your goals.

My approach to therapy

Honestly, I think being able to speak your mind in therapy—without fear of judgment or the infamous “therapist eyebrow raise”—is essential. I’ve been on the client couch more times than I can count, and I get it. From childhood loss, teen chaos, and divorced parents to being the “monkey-in-the-middle” in family drama, those messy, real-life experiences shaped the therapist I am today. Now, as a mom of three, life’s thrown even more my way, and I’ve embraced it all. I’m here to help you navigate your own beautiful chaos—with humor, honesty, and heart. Let’s Monkey through this together.

What you can expect from me

I can help with anxiety, ADHD, autism, social skills, problem behaviors, teen issues, marital conflicts, parenting stress, aging, and family challenges. A typical treatment plan includes building trust, setting clear goals, using evidence-based strategies, and family involvement when needed. You can expect improved coping, better relationships, and meaningful change.
