Jess Childress

In 2010, I completed my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Since then, I have specialized in working with children and families on a variety of behavioral and emotional concerns. I am certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and received specialized training in implementing the Health component of PCIT. I received my training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy from NJ Cares, and have been implementing TF-CBT for youth under the age of 18 since 2015.

I am a dedicated therapist with experience working with individuals and families, starting at ages 2 and up. At Thrive Together, I employ evidence-based treatments to facilitate long-lasting positive change. My therapeutic approach ensures that the unique challenges faced by each individual is addressed with compassion, as well as a research based methodology.

Sessions involve diagnostic assessment, setting and achieving therapeutic goals, and learning how to manage the symptoms interfering with your day to day life with tools that you can take with you after we complete our work together.
