Great to meet you!

I have been practicing in the mental health field since completing my training in Masters of Social Work at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) and have been a licensed mental health professional since 2016. My clinical experience has focused primarily on working with adults across a wide range of mental health needs. I have been fortunate to work in an agency setting that exposed me to diverse populations and clinical presentations, allowing me to develop the skills to support clients through everything from everyday stressors and life transitions to complex mental health challenges and acute psychiatric needs.

My areas of focus include ADHD, co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns (dual diagnosis), and stress management. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and comfortable exploring their challenges. My goal is to help each person build on their strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and make meaningful, lasting changes that improve their overall well-being and quality of life.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should empower you to live a healthier, more fulfilling life, both during and beyond our time together. There are seasons in life when having the support of a therapist can make all the difference in helping you regain your footing, work through challenges, and move forward.

My approach is practical, collaborative, and focused on giving you tools you can actually use in your everyday life. Rather than overwhelming you with complicated strategies that are difficult to maintain, I focus on helping you understand what brought you to therapy, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop simple, effective ways to navigate challenges independently.

My goal isn't for you to need therapy forever. It's to help you build the insight, skills, and confidence to become your own greatest resource. Therapy should leave you feeling better equipped to handle life's challenges, knowing that seeking support again when you need it is always an option.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to start. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and safe being yourself.

We'll talk about what's been going on in your life, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to change or better understand. Together, we'll begin identifying patterns, strengths, and practical ways to help you move forward. You can expect a collaborative approach that focuses on your individual needs, with an emphasis on realistic strategies you can apply to your everyday life.

You don't have to solve everything in one session. We'll take things at your pace, and my goal is for you to leave with a clearer understanding of your next steps and the confidence that meaningful change is possible.
