Great to meet you!

Hey, I'm Jess! I'm glad you're here and look forward to getting to know you and helping you, help yourself! I work with adolescents and adults navigating OCD, ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD. I also specialize in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, including trans and non-binary individuals. I'm a neurodivergent-affirming and a queer-affirming therapist, which means I won't make you educate me on your identity before we can get to work. I believe you are the expert on your own life. My job is to help you access the clarity, confidence, and tools to actually live it.

My approach to therapy

I'm a firm believer that kindness, compassion, and direct communication are important for growth. My approach to therapy is to help you feel empowered and capable, and ensuring you have the tools to do so. Be direct with me, and I'll be direct with you, that's the foundation of how I work. I don't believe in passive, open-ended therapy that leaves you feeling unheard or stuck. I bring structure, warmth, and real communication to every session. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based: I'll challenge you when it's useful, support you when it's needed, and always make sure you're walking away with something concrete. I draw on evidence-informed practices suited to each person, because what works for OCD doesn't always work for ADHD, and what works for one person doesn't work for another.

What you can expect from me

I want to offer up space for you to be able to ask questions freely at any point, but especially in your first session. Everyone's needs are different, so whether you need some time before jumping into the work or you're ready to go from the start, I'll be right there with you.
