Great to meet you!

Whether you're a child struggling to make sense of big emotions, a teen navigating the pressures of growing up, or an adult facing a major life transition — like starting college, beginning a new job, navigating a breakup or divorce, or figuring out who you are and what comes next — you've come to the right place. If you're dealing with anxiety, ADD/ADHD, depression, or trauma, know that you don't have to figure it out alone. Therapy can be real and sometimes hard, but it doesn't have to feel heavy all the time — and that's exactly the kind of space I aim to create.

My approach to therapy

I take a warm, direct, and solution-focused approach, with a healthy dose of humor along the way. With teens and adults, I blend CBT and mindfulness strategies to build practical, real-world coping skills, always staying attuned to trauma-informed care. With children, play therapy is often the primary language I use to work through emotions that are hard to put into words, and it's an area I've spent years honing. I tailor my style to each client, but the goal is always the same: a space where you can be yourself, feel seen and heard, laugh a little, and actually make progress towards your goals.

What you can expect from me

The first few sessions are about building trust and getting a clear picture of what brought you to therapy. For younger clients, I'll often introduce a bit of play to help them settle in; for teens and adults, we'll talk through history, strengths, and current challenges in a conversational, no-pressure way. Expect a supportive, empathetic, and judgment-free environment. By the end, we'll have a clear sense of goals moving forward and what our work together will look like.
