Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor with 15 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults through anxiety, depression, grief, stress, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I became a counselor because I care deeply about helping people heal from painful experiences and move through everyday challenges with more steadiness and hope. It is a real privilege to be invited into someone’s story, and I work hard to make therapy feel safe, compassionate, and empowering from the very beginning.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, non-threatening, and tailored to the person in front of me. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with developmental, interpersonal, and attachment-based perspectives to help clients better understand patterns, build confidence, and create healthier ways of coping. Whether we are working through emotional wounds, current stressors, or life changes, my hope is that therapy helps you find more balance, stronger self-trust, and meaningful forward movement in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

We’ll start by turning down the outside noise and making space for what feels heaviest for you right now. The first session is a chance for you to share what has been weighing on you, what support has or hasn’t felt helpful, and what you want from therapy in this season of life. I want you to feel heard, grounded, and a little less alone by the end of our time together.

In our first sessions, we'll explore questions like: What would healing or progress look like for you? What is bothering you the most? What changes would you hope to see in your life? These conversations help guide our work together and ensure therapy is focused on what matters most to you.
