Great to meet you!

I started my journey in social work nearly 20 years ago, after serving in the military and utilizing my GI Bill to fund my education. My career has taken me through some incredibly challenging environments: from jails to supporting homeless families, and working closely with individuals battling addiction or navigating severe mental health crises.

Through every experience, I've consistently witnessed something profound: the unwavering hope, incredible resilience, and fierce dedication people possess to fight for and reclaim the lives they envision. This deep understanding of human strength, even in the most difficult circumstances, is what I bring to every session.

My approach to therapy

I don’t see therapy as ‘asking for help,’ but as a proactive consultation with someone experienced in recognizing underlying issues, developing effective strategies, and working with you to attain whatever it is that brought you here.

I am non-judgemental, having a wealth of experience working with people the world has turned on or forgotten. My work is grounded in a deep respect for your journey and resilience.

My approach integrates practical, evidence-based techniques with a compassionate understanding of your unique challenges. I value your time and am dedicated to you reclaiming your desired outcomes in the most efficient and impactful way, fostering lasting change.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to be fully present, an engaged listener, and a source of unwavering empathy. My career has provided deep insight into significant pain, fear, hurt, struggle, and violence, enabling me to support you without reservation. In our sessions, you'll gain new perspectives and practical skills to address your challenges head-on. My aim is for you to experience forward momentum after every meeting, leaving with a clearer path and the confidence to actively reclaim the fulfilling life you truly deserve.
