Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) with over seven years of combined experience in addiction treatment, mental health, trauma recovery, and community-based services. My background centers on providing individualized therapy, completing comprehensive evaluations, supporting clients through court-mandated requirements, and helping individuals and families navigate complex emotional and life transitions. I work with adolescents, adults, and families experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, domestic violence, identity development, and emotional regulation.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I am EMDR-trained and integrate EMDR-informed techniques, along with CBT, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused strategies, and emotional-regulation skills to help clients build insight and create real change.

I believe therapy should feel both supportive and practical. Together we explore the patterns, histories, and beliefs shaping your current experiences and develop tools that help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control. I show up with honesty, warmth, and a nonjudgmental stance, creating a space where you can unpack difficult emotions, challenge old narratives, and build healthier ways of relating to yourself and others

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you, your story, your goals, and what you’re hoping to change or heal. I create a calm, open, and supportive environment where you can go at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what’s been weighing on you, and what you want life to look like moving forward.

By the end of the first session, most clients leave with a clearer understanding of their goals, initial coping strategies they can begin using right away, and a sense of whether we’re a good fit. My priority is to help you feel safe, heard, and empowered from day one.
