Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be heard and seen. I believe that mental health is often overlooked and a lower priority when it comes to health and I believe it is important to challenge that belief and bring attention to what is affecting us mentally and emotionally. Throughout my experience I have worked with a range of clients, from children to older adults, working with clients struggling with depression and anxiety to OCD and Bipolar Disorder. Everyone should have the opportunity to get the help they need and I hope that working together we will be able to identify and work towards building a life that is best for you!

My approach to therapy

I work very cooperatively with clients to identify goals that we can work towards, but I prioritize maintaining an open space for client's to discuss what is most important to them. I encourage client's to be themselves in session and to be open and honest so that we can work together to create an effective working relationship.

I focus on a combination of CBT, DBT, ACT, and Gestalt therapy skills in my work with patient to aid them in identifying unhelpful patterns and to develop coping skills that can improve the symptoms they are experiencing.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session that allows clients to determine if working together is the best fit for them. The first session is a where we will discuss your "why" for seeking therapy and allows the opportunity to share your experiences, what you hope achieve in therapy and what we can do together to help you. We will set goals and expectations for each other and review any questions and concerns that you may have for about your therapy!
