I'm Jesse, and I work as a counselor at Chico State in Northern California, where I support students through their challenges. I also have a small private practice because I value keeping things balanced for my own well-being. I enjoy working with people from different backgrounds, and as a Spanish speaker, I especially appreciate connecting with clients who feel more comfortable in Spanish.
I believe in keeping things manageable and personal, so I only take on a few clients at a time to make sure I can give each person the attention they deserve. My sessions are about meeting you where you are, listening without judgment, and helping you find practical ways to move forward. I want therapy to feel like a safe, comfortable space where you can be yourself and talk about what matters most to you.
In our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you and what brings you in, making sure you feel heard and understood. We’ll talk about your goals and what you hope to get out of therapy, and I’ll answer any questions you have about the process. My goal is to make you feel at ease and supported, so you can decide if working together feels like the right fit for you.
