Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual Health Psychologist. I examine how biological, social, and psychological issues that influence your well-being. In other words, I consider all of you. I am highly focused on how context and the larger systems impact your identity; choosing interventions that match your worldviews and lived experiences. I have a powerful ability to sit with your story and hold the space needed to heal. Working with me invites you to move beyond “good enough” and achieve deep lasting self-agency.

My approach to therapy

I am passionate about the mind/body/spirituality relationship, nutritional psychology, and human resiliency. My style is mindfulness-based, interactive, warm, open-minded, strength-based, and direct at times. I use strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal psychotherapy to list a few. Most of all, I emphasize on the human connection in the therapeutic space.

What you can expect from me

My goal for anyone I have the honor to work with is that they will reach a point in their self-discovery and healing where they will no longer need me. We are built to overcome even the most painful experiences and I am here to help you rediscover your inherent resilience. I create a space rooted in authenticity. Therefore, you can expect to feel at ease and calm enough to show up and share the vulnerable pieces of you that guide your healing process.
