Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Jessica, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care in both English and Spanish. My approach combines medication management with supportive, skills-based therapy to help clients better understand their mental health and develop practical tools for lasting change.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, mood concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered in their care.

I use evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation while tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs.

I believe mental health care works best as a collaborative process. Together, we will identify your goals, explore patterns that may be contributing to distress, and develop strategies that help you move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Seeking help can feel overwhelming, but taking the first step is an important investment in your well-being. I look forward to supporting you on your mental health journey!

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, supportive, and individualized. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and goals. Together, we develop treatment plans that are practical, personalized, and focused on improving overall well-being.

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide medication management along with therapeutic support when appropriate. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation to help clients better understand their symptoms and build effective coping strategies.

As a bilingual provider, I offer care in both English and Spanish and strive to provide culturally responsive and accessible mental health treatment.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we will focus on getting to know you, understanding your concerns, and discussing what led you to seek care. I will ask questions about your current symptoms, mental health history, lifestyle, and goals so we can develop a clear understanding of your needs.

My goal is to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing openly. By the end of the session, we will typically discuss possible diagnoses, treatment options, and begin developing a personalized plan that may include therapy strategies, medication if appropriate, and practical steps toward improving your well-being.
