Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jessica, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Florida. My personal experiences have deeply shaped the way I approach therapy and the kind of space I strive to create for clients. I know firsthand that healing and growth are rarely linear, and that support looks different for everyone. Because of that, I don’t believe therapy should feel rigid or “one size fits all.”

My approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in genuine human connection. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can exhale a little, show up authentically, and talk openly about both the heavy things and the everyday moments that still matter. Yes, I absolutely want to hear about your stressful week, your latest life spiral, and how your pets are doing too. Alongside the deeper work, I believe there is real value in feeling comfortable enough to be fully yourself in session.

I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, supported, and never judged. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, stressors, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck while building practical tools, emotional insight, and confidence that feel sustainable outside of therapy. My hope is that you leave sessions feeling more grounded, more connected to yourself, and more capable of navigating life with clarity, self-trust, and compassion.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in authentic connection. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, stressors, and experiences that may be contributing to anxiety, emotional overwhelm, self-doubt, burnout, or feeling stuck while building practical tools that feel realistic and sustainable in everyday life.

My approach blends CBT, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, strengths-based work, and attachment-focused perspectives to help you better understand yourself, manage overwhelming thoughts and emotions, strengthen confidence, and create meaningful change. I strive to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and able to show up fully as yourself while building a stronger sense of balance, clarity, and emotional resilience.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply a space for us to connect, get to know each other, and begin building a foundation that feels supportive and comfortable for you. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, current challenges, and what you hope to gain from therapy, but there is no pressure to have everything figured out right away.

We’ll also review confidentiality, talk through what therapy with me looks like, and create space for any questions or concerns you may have about the process. My goal is to help you feel safe, understood, and able to show up authentically from the very beginning.

Therapy is not a rigid or one-size-fits-all process. Together, we’ll continue exploring patterns, emotions, stressors, and goals as they evolve over time, allowing our work to adapt in a way that feels meaningful and supportive to your unique needs.

If you feel ready to take the next step, you can schedule directly through Headway or reach out to set up a free consultation call.
