Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. My name is Jessica Auguste, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents and adults.

I earned my advanced nursing education through St. Thomas University and have a diverse healthcare background that includes pediatric nursing, community health, and mental health services. My experience has allowed me to work with individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, helping them navigate life's challenges while supporting their emotional well-being.

I specialize in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, stress related concerns, and other mental health conditions. My approach is collaborative, patient centered, and tailored to each individual's unique needs. I believe that mental health care works best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment decisions.

Through telehealth, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where clients can openly discuss their concerns and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Whether you are seeking medication management, treatment planning, or support in achieving your mental health goals, I am committed to partnering with you on your journey toward wellness.

I look forward to helping you take the next step toward a healthier and more balanced life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe that effective mental health treatment begins with building a trusting relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can openly discuss your concerns and actively participate in decisions about your care.

I use a holistic, evidence-based approach that considers not only symptoms but also the emotional, physical, social, and environmental factors that may be affecting your mental health. Together, we will develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, goals, and lifestyle.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing support for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, stress-related concerns, and other mental health conditions. I emphasize education and shared decision-making, ensuring that clients understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and progress throughout their care.

I recognize that seeking mental health treatment can feel overwhelming, and I strive to make the process approachable and empowering. Whether you are managing a long standing condition or navigating a new challenge, I am committed to helping you develop the tools, resilience, and confidence needed to improve your overall well-being and quality of life.

My focus is not only on symptom management but on helping clients achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their mental health and daily functioning.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment free environment where we focus on getting to know you and understanding your unique concerns, experiences, and goals. My priority is to ensure that you feel comfortable, heard, and respected throughout the process.

The initial appointment typically includes a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, during which we will discuss your current symptoms, mental health history, medical history, medications, lifestyle factors, and any challenges that may be impacting your well being. We will also explore your strengths, support systems, and what you hope to achieve through treatment.

Together, we will identify your treatment goals and develop a personalized plan that aligns with your needs and preferences. Depending on your situation, this may include medication management, education about your diagnosis, coping strategies, lifestyle recommendations, or referrals to additional resources and therapy services when appropriate.

By the end of the first session, my goal is for you to have a clear understanding of the next steps in your care, feel empowered to participate in your treatment decisions, and leave with a sense of hope and direction. I believe that successful treatment is built on collaboration, trust, and open communication, and I look forward to partnering with you on your mental health journey.
