Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who provides evidence-based, compassionate care. My approach is collaborative: I bring expertise in mental health, and you bring expertise in yourself, your experiences, and your goals. Together, we can work toward meaningful change and greater hope.

I support people coping with insomnia, chronic pain, weight-related concerns, illness, isolation, and fears about death and dying. I specialize in women’s health and life transitions, including perinatal mental health, infertility, pregnancy loss, menopause, and reproductive health concerns.

You may be struggling with persistent worry, low mood, irritability, overwhelm, or difficulty adjusting to changes in your body or life. Perhaps pain is draining your energy, poor sleep is affecting your mood and concentration, or menopause or reproductive concerns are leaving you feeling unlike yourself. During pregnancy or after childbirth, you may be experiencing anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, or difficulty connecting with your baby. Whatever brings you to therapy, I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space to help you feel more grounded and move forward.

If disrupted sleep, pain, reproductive or hormonal changes, or emotional distress are interfering with your daily life, I am here to support you.

I accept patients in the states of Missouri and Kansas who consent to video telehealth appointments.

Clinical Training: I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Missouri Kansas City's Clinical Psychology program, with a health emphasis, in 2022. I then completed a comprehensive internship at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2022 and a health psychology postdoctoral fellowship at the Kansas City VA Medical Center in 2023. I have been extensively trained in evidence-based practices for health psychology.

My approach to therapy

I provide compassionate, evidence-based health psychological treatment for adults facing challenges that affect their health, mood, sleep, and quality of life. My approach combines the best available science with careful assessment, practical strategies, and therapy tailored to your unique needs and goals.

Together, we will identify what is getting in the way and focus on realistic steps that support progress. I value collaboration, transparency, and care that is thoughtful, ethical, and grounded in research.

If you are ready to better understand your concerns and work toward positive change, I invite you to reach out. I would welcome the opportunity to learn more about you and discuss how I may be able to help.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know you, understand what brings you to therapy, and identify what you hope to change. We will discuss your current concerns, symptoms, health and treatment history, and how these challenges may be affecting your daily life, relationships, sleep, work, or overall well-being.

We will also talk about your strengths, coping strategies, and the goals that matter most to you. I will explain how my therapy works, answer your questions, and make space for you to decide whether my approach feels like a good fit.

By the end of the session, we will begin developing a personalized treatment plan and identify practical next steps to support your goals.
