Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jessica! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges, build confidence, and develop a better understanding of themselves. I graduated from Sacred Heart University and began my career as a middle school social worker before transitioning into private practice. My experience has allowed me to work with individuals navigating a variety of challenges, and I understand that reaching out for support can sometimes feel overwhelming. I'm glad you're here, and I hope to make taking that first step feel a little easier!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that you deserve a space where you feel safe, supported, and free from judgment. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and strength-based approaches to help you navigate challenges, build confidence, and recognize your own strengths. I believe therapy isn't about having all the answers or being told what to do, but rather it's about working together to understand your experiences, explore what matters to you, and find tools that feel helpful in your everyday life. I'll meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you work toward your goals, at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you're not sure what to expect, and that's completely okay! During our first session, we'll take time to get to know one another and talk about what brings you to therapy. I'll walk you through what the therapeutic process may look like, answer any questions you have, and give you space to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. Together, we'll begin exploring your goals and what you'd like to get out of therapy. My hope is that you'll leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and a little more comfortable knowing that we're in this together.
