Great to meet you!

Feeling comfortable enough to be vulnerable with someone new is often a challenge for people starting therapy. That is why providing a safe, nonjudgmental environment in which the therapeutic relationship is a priority is important to me as a therapist. I have been active in the mental health field for over 15 years, and have had my License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) since 2016.

I am passionate about working with adults who are navigating various life challenges, including but not limited to work related stress, unhealthy relationships, life transitions (marriage, having children), job related stress, childhood trauma, family relationship problems, and managing mental health related symptoms.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy using a client-centered approach in which the therapeutic alliance is key. You are supported in identifying and exploring your feelings and beliefs while enhancing your self-identity and improving self-acceptance. Based on where you are in your journey of healing, I may also utilize motivational interviewing techniques to support you in identifying any self-doubt and ultimately enhancing your readiness to reach your goals. Together, we can also focus on improving distress tolerance and emotional regulation strategies that will benefit your overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

Collaborating with folks and supporting them in strengthening their sense of self is a process I am passionate about. We can work together to enhance your skills in managing life's stressors, challenges, and transitions. I am here to assist you in your growth as an individual. My hope is that you feel more confident in effectively managing various levels of distress caused by either ongoing mental health symptoms, life stressors, relationship challenges or other transitions.
