Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with teens and adults navigating things like school refusal, emotional dysregulation, anger, self harm, anxiety, depression, OCD, life transitions, and personal growth. I work with teens ages 13 to 18 as well as adults, and my goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and not alone in what you are going through.

Outside of my work, I enjoy being creative, staying organized, and spending time with my husband, our dog, and our two daughters, which helps me stay grounded and connected in my own life as well.

My approach to therapy

My approach is strength based, humanistic, and focused on the whole person. I believe you already have the ability to grow and adapt, and together we will build on that. We will look at your emotions, relationships, environment, and patterns so we can create meaningful and lasting change.

I draw from approaches like CBT, DBT, and ACT to help you better manage intense emotions, build coping skills, and strengthen confidence in a way that feels practical and useful in your day to day life. My style is warm, collaborative, and steady, and we will move at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will start with a relaxed conversation to help you feel comfortable and get to know each other. We will talk through what brought you to therapy, what you are hoping to gain, and begin building a clearer understanding of your experiences.

From there, we will work together to start identifying your goals and what support could look like moving forward, so you leave feeling heard, supported, and more confident about your next steps.
