Great to meet you!

As a Latina, queer woman, mother and professional I understand the intersections of identity and how they play a role in who we are and how we display ourselves in the word. Although I am new to private practice I have over 20 years of experience in community based mental health.

I am excited to work with you to create a blueprint for what you want your life to look like. Together we will find things that add value to your life and let go of the barriers that are holding you back.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I like to think of our time together in phases. In the initial phase, we will work on getting to know each other and identifying the key issues you would like to focus on.

The second phase is the longest of our therapeutic relationship and can last as long as necessary to accomplish your goals.

The third and final phase is the close-out phase, at this point, we have gotten as far as we can and we will be working on making sure you have the tools you need to address future barriers.

What you can expect from our first session

I use a combination of talk therapy, breathwork, mindfulness, and creative modalities to deal with unresolved traumas, give you skills to understand what you can not control, and help you become the narrator of what your future looks like.
