Great to meet you!

If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or navigating a difficult season of life, you don't have to face it alone. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, gain insight, and develop practical tools to create meaningful, lasting change.

With more than 15 years of counseling experience, I've worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in both school and private practice settings. I tailor therapy to your unique needs, strengths, and goals.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Clients often appreciate that our sessions feel like genuine conversations while also providing structure, insight, and strategies they can use in everyday life. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Client-Centered Therapy to help you build confidence, improve relationships, and move forward with greater clarity and resilience.

My approach to therapy

In our sessions, I draw on cognitive behavioral techniques to help you notice and shift unhelpful thinking patterns, and dialectical behavior skills to build distress tolerance and emotional regulation. For clients who find it hard to put things into words, I incorporate art and play as natural entry points into self-expression. Solution-focused questions keep us moving toward what is already working in your life. Whatever combination fits you best, sessions feel like a real conversation: collaborative, grounded, and always moving at your pace.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect an opportunity to discuss what brings them to counseling, their goals for treatment, and what they hope to gain from the therapeutic process. We will also explore any previous experiences with counseling, including what they found helpful, what challenges they encountered, and what they would like to be different moving forward. Understanding each client's unique experiences, strengths, needs, and expectations allows us to create a personalized plan that feels comfortable and aligned with their goals.

My goal is to build a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy, and respect while providing a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. Together, we will work toward greater self-awareness, healing, and personal growth, one step at a time.
