Hi There! My name is Jessica Curlett, and I am a licensed Professional Counselor. I have a diverse professional background and have worked in university and group counseling settings, with ages from teens up through those in their 30s. I am experienced with a wide array of presenting concerns, primarily focusing on anxiety, depression, and trauma. I offer Christian counseling upon request.
I take a person-centered, integrative, approach to therapy where the client is the expert of their experience, and we work together as partners in the journey toward wellness. I integrate the techniques of cognitive-behavioral therapy, cultural-relational therapy, Christian counseling, strengths-based, positive psychology, and solution-focused therapy in my work with clients.
This is your process, and my role is to come alongside you on the journey! The first session can be intimidating, but it should also be warm and inviting. Often clients feel the effect therapy can have after just one session. Sharing in a safe, validating, space can begin the change process for a client. I have a passion for seeing clients progress in our work, and the first session will help determine if our therapeutic relationship is the right fit. Looking forward to meeting you!
