Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor, I believe that a warm, non-judgmental connection is the foundation of meaningful healing. Reaching out for support takes courage, and my goal is to walk alongside you in a collaborative, person-centered space. While I bring extensive clinical experience to my practice and am currently completing my PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy, my approach is always human-first and tailored to your unique needs. I also specialize in play therapy, offering creative and developmentally appropriate tools for younger clients to safely process their emotions. Whatever your goals may be, I am here to support and empower you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is fundamentally person-centered, meaning I view you as the true expert on your own life. We will work collaboratively in a safe, non-judgmental environment to explore your experiences, overcome obstacles, and build upon your inherent strengths. To help you better manage and change unhelpful thought patterns, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) alongside grounding mindfulness techniques. For younger clients, I specialize in play therapy, utilizing creative interventions to help them process complex emotions in a language that feels natural to them. Whether through traditional talk therapy or play, my ultimate goal is to foster a therapeutic relationship built on trust, genuine connection, and mutual respect.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my primary focus is on creating a warm, secure space where you feel completely comfortable being yourself. We will use this time to get to know one another, explore your story, and identify the specific goals you hope to achieve. For younger clients engaging in play therapy, this initial meeting often involves caregivers so we can build a strong foundation together. Ultimately, we will outline a clear, shared vision for your therapeutic journey. Moving forward, every session will be dedicated to turning those goals into a reality at a pace that feels right for you.
