Great to meet you!

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides strength-based care for individuals navigating multiple mental health challenges, including ADHD, OCD, PTSD and trauma, personality disorders, substance use disorders, schizophrenia and psychosis disorders, autism spectrum disorders, depression, anxiety, panic disorders, mood disorders, and bipolar conditions.

My practice is founded on the belief that every person possesses inherent resilience and capacity for growth, even amid significant mental health struggles. I'm drawn to working with complex patients because I see beyond diagnoses to remarkable individuals courageously managing multiple challenges. Whether you're neurodivergent with trauma history, in recovery while managing other conditions, or dealing with symptoms others have found difficult to treat, I approach our work with curiosity about your unique strengths.

My treatment philosophy centers on collaboration and empowerment. I believe you're the expert on your experience, and my role is to provide clinical expertise while honoring your autonomy. Together, we'll identify existing coping skills, build upon these foundations, and develop new strategies for managing symptoms and achieving your personal goals.

My practice focuses on recovery and post-traumatic growth beyond symptom management. I'm here to help you discover your strengths, build meaningful relationships, and create a truly fulfilling life. I provide personalized medication management and treatment plans that fit your real life. Whether managing work, relationships, or daily responsibilities, we'll develop practical strategies. Taking the first step can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate this alone. Your strength has carried you this far, and together we'll carry it even further. I'm accepting new patients and ready to support your journey toward healing, growth, and a life that feels truly meaningful.

My approach to therapy

Exceptional psychiatric care emerges at the true intersection of expertise, genuine empathy, and authentic empowerment. My practice rests on three core commitments that shape and guide everything we do together.

The first is truly knowing you: not simply your symptoms, but your complete story, your real strengths, your genuine challenges, and what carries the deepest meaning in your life. The second is evidence-based treatment addressing both immediate relief and lasting wellness, thoughtful medication management when appropriate, practical coping strategies, and deliberate attention to the everyday factors shaping your emotional wellbeing. The third is meeting you with unwavering dignity, respect, and grace. Seeking help takes real courage, and reaching out always reflects genuine resilience, never weakness.

I take a deeply collaborative approach, weaving my clinical expertise with your lived experiences, values, and personal goals. I will never steer you toward a path at odds with who you truly are. Instead, I present your options clearly, address your concerns with thoughtful, genuine care, and help you feel fully informed, confident and genuinely empowered in every decision we reach together.

I approach every person with authentic cultural humility, recognizing that my perspective has real limits and that your background, cultural identity, and deeply held beliefs are essential parts of who you are. These meaningful dimensions of your lived experience actively shape the partnership and the care we build together.

I am candid about the true realities of recovery: progress is rarely a straight line, and difficult seasons are a natural, fully expected part of genuine growth. Together, we will work steadily toward a life where you feel more grounded, fulfilled, and authentically yourself. You deserve a clinician who is genuinely and wholeheartedly invested in your wellbeing, and that is exactly who I am committed to being.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is structured to feel welcoming, comprehensive, and focused entirely on your experiences and circumstances. I understand that seeking medication management takes genuine courage, and I am purposeful about fostering a space where you feel truly heard, respected, and valued from the very beginning.

We will spend our time building a clear picture of what has been unfolding in your life. I will ask about the symptoms that brought you in — whether persistent sadness, overwhelming anxiety, mood fluctuations, difficulty concentrating, or other challenges disrupting your daily functioning. We will explore how these symptoms are manifesting: shifts in sleep, appetite, energy, motivation, relationships, professional performance, or your capacity to find enjoyment in things that once carried meaning.

I will work to understand when these concerns first appeared, what tends to intensify or ease them, and how they are shaping your overall quality of life. Your psychiatric history holds considerable weight. We will walk through prior diagnoses, earlier treatments, and medications you have explored — including what proved helpful and what did not.

We will also review your physical health, covering existing medical conditions, current prescriptions, supplements, and allergies. Lifestyle factors such as sleep, exercise, nutrition, and substance use each meaningfully influence emotional well-being and will be woven naturally into our conversation.

I will additionally explore formative life experiences, present stressors, relationship patterns, trauma history, and the support systems available to you. Every detail you share helps me understand not just your symptoms but the whole person behind them.

Following this evaluation, we will determine together whether medication may support your recovery. Your confidence in every decision remains my highest priority throughout our entire partnership.
