Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a background in both medical and mental health care, which allows me to approach treatment with a well-rounded, whole-person perspective. My training includes comprehensive education in psychiatric diagnosis, psychopharmacology, and evidence-based treatment approaches, along with experience working in a variety of clinical settings.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with diverse populations, including adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and stress-related conditions. I also have experience supporting individuals managing life transitions, burnout, and co-occurring medical and mental health concerns.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical and individualized. I take time to understand each person’s history, lifestyle, and goals, and I tailor treatment plans accordingly. This often includes medication management when appropriate, along with guidance on sleep, stress, and daily habits that can significantly impact mental health.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, the focus is on getting a clear, comprehensive understanding of you and what brings you in. We’ll talk through your current concerns, symptoms, and goals, as well as relevant history such as past treatments, medical background, and lifestyle factors that may be impacting your mental health.

If appropriate, we may discuss possible diagnoses and begin outlining a treatment plan. This can include medication options, therapy recommendations, and practical strategies tailored to your needs. I’ll explain everything clearly so you understand the reasoning behind each recommendation and feel comfortable moving forward.

You can expect a respectful, nonjudgmental environment where your concerns are taken seriously. By the end of the session, my goal is for you to feel heard, have greater clarity about what’s going on, and leave with a clear next step in your care.
