Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with children and adults navigating life’s challenges. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I have several years of experience working with children and parents, helping families strengthen communication, manage behavioral or emotional concerns, and build healthy coping skills. In addition to my therapy work, I also serve as a case manager in a long-term acute care hospital, where I support adults and older adults facing complex medical and life transitions. My approach is compassionate, practical, and strengths-based. I strive to help clients better understand themselves, develop effective coping strategies, and feel more confident navigating everyday life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and client-centered. I work closely with clients to understand their goals and challenges, tailoring strategies to their unique needs and developmental stage.

I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thinking patterns, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change in their daily lives. I also incorporate a strengths-based perspective, helping clients recognize and build on the resilience, skills, and resources they already possess. For those navigating grief and loss, I provide a compassionate space to process emotions, develop coping strategies, and gradually find ways to move forward while honoring their experience.

Overall, my style is flexible and supportive, with a focus on practical skills, emotional insight, and empowering clients to feel more confident managing life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your goals, challenges, and what has or hasn’t worked in the past, so I can tailor our work to your needs. We’ll also discuss what therapy looks like with me, including what to expect from sessions and how we can work together on practical skills to help you cope with anxiety, grief, life transitions, or other challenges. This session is a safe space for you to share your experiences, ask questions, and get a sense of whether my approach feels like a good fit for you.
