Great to meet you!

Hi- I'm so glad you're here.

I work with clients with major medical issues like chronic pain, recurrent migraines and headaches, and acquired disability (like an amputation or a spinal cord injury). Oftentimes, these are the types of things that can leave us feeling trapped, restricted, and like all we have time and energy for is dealing with our health.

I also work with those who are looking to make big lifestyle changes (changes to diet, exercise, medication adherence) in a way that feels easily accessible and sustainable.

As a clinical health psychologist, my goal is to help those living with chronic illness and/or disability find a way to have enriched, fulfilled lives. While I cannot cure physical illness, I CAN help you figure out how to answer the question, "Now what?" following your diagnosis.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy can be described as "radically genuine." I value authenticity and transparency in my relationships, both personal and professional.

Patients who gain the most from working with me are those who are ready to make a change and who don't mind a little bit of "therapeutic sarcasm" sprinkled into our interactions.

I also value short-term, effective therapy. It is my hope that none of my patients feel the need to be with me for years and years, because if they're not ready to get out and live their lives without me, then I'm not doing my job right.

What you can expect from me

If you are someone who is tired of feeling like a "prisoner to your disease," who is looking to take a break from letting everyone but you call the shots about your life/health, or who is ready to take ownership of your lifestyle, you're in the right place.

Let's schedule a free, 15min chat to go over what life could be like if we worked together.
