Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. As a National Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. I believe counseling is a collaborative process built on trust, empathy, and genuine connection, and I strive to help each client feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout their journey.

I have experience supporting individuals facing anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, and emotional difficulties while helping clients build resilience, improve emotional wellness, and gain deeper self-understanding.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered, with a focus on creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. I believe in building a trusting therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I incorporate techniques to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthy coping strategies, and improve emotional regulation. In addition, I utilize Therapies to help clients recognize their strengths, build resilience, and work toward meaningful, goal-oriented change. Above all, I strive to support clients in achieving healing, self-discovery, and long-term personal growth.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to be welcoming, supportive, and focused on creating a safe and comfortable environment. I understand that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, so I strive to help clients feel heard, respected, and at ease as we discuss the concerns, challenges, or goals that brought them to counseling. During our first session, I will ask questions about important life experiences, emotional well-being, relationships, coping strategies, and current stressors to better understand each client’s unique needs and strengths. Together, we will begin identifying goals for therapy and discussing what healing and progress may look like. My goal is for clients to leave the session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about their therapeutic journey.
