I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working with children, adolescents, and families since 2008. I specialize in helping children with anxiety, emotional regulation, and behavioral challenges, while also supporting parents with practical tools and guidance. As a parent myself, I understand how overwhelming it can feel when your child is struggling. I create a supportive, judgment-free space where both children and parents feel heard, understood, and supported.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each child and family. I use developmentally appropriate, often play-based and interactive techniques to help children understand their emotions, build coping skills, and gain confidence. I also work closely with parents, providing clear strategies they can use at home. My goal is to help children feel more in control of their emotions and help families feel more connected and supported.
The first session is a welcoming and low-pressure space focused on getting to know your child and understanding your concerns. I’ll gather information about what’s been going on, your child’s strengths, and what you’d like to see improve. Children are never forced to open up—I meet them at their pace so they feel safe and comfortable. By the end, we’ll begin identifying goals and next steps so you feel clear and supported moving forward.
