My name is Jessica Halse. I have been a psychiatric nurse practitioner for more than 10 years. Prior to that I was an RN in the emergency department at a level one trauma center. I have also worked as an RN and an NPP in the crisis/ED setting. I enjoy working with all clients from a multitude of backgrounds.
I focus on symptom management without emphasis on diagnosis. A diagnosis does not define a person. I love getting to know my clients and really enjoy watching them become the best version of themselves.
I create a warm and inviting environment for everyone. I ask a lot of questions but that is my way of getting to know you! I am approachable! Clients will always have a way to reach me if they are having problems. I encourage goal setting and will work with you to obtain those goals!
