Great to meet you!

I bring diverse clinical experience into a nonjudgmental and supportive therapeutic environment. I understand that recognizing the need for help can be difficult, and I’m here to support you as you take steps toward the changes you’re seeking.

Through a strong, trusted therapeutic alliance, mindfulness-based practices, and collaborative, goal-oriented work, we can turn your goals into meaningful, lasting change. My aim is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

I work with you in a respectful, collaborative partnership, tailoring evidence-based strategies to your unique life experiences, goals, and values. My approach centers on building a strong therapeutic alliance, fostering curiosity, and supporting gradual, sustainable change over time.

I integrate present-focused mindfulness with goal-oriented planning to help you translate insight into practical, real-life steps. I also emphasize building skills you can use outside of sessions, so progress continues beyond our time together and supports long-term resilience. My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and transparent. I aim to create a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I balance compassionate listening with structured guidance, helping sessions feel both supportive and purposeful.

I meet you where you are, combining empathy with gentle accountability to help sustain progress. I value collaboration, open feedback, and adapting techniques to align with your preferences, identity, and cultural background.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and safe space where you are met with warmth, curiosity, and nonjudgmental listening. We’ll begin by discussing what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any immediate concerns you’d like to address.

I’ll also provide a clear overview of how therapy works and what you can expect moving forward. Together, we’ll begin building a shared focus, outlining goals, and identifying practical next steps. I may ask questions about your history, current challenges, coping strategies, and recent life events to better understand your context and tailor our work.

Depending on your needs, you may leave with a simple tool or mindfulness practice to try between sessions. The first session is also an opportunity for you to assess fit—if it doesn’t feel like the right match, we can discuss next steps or explore alternative options.
