Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a master's degree in counseling and a background in complex trauma, family systems, clinical leadership, and university counseling. I've worked in behavioral health since 2012 and have provided psychotherapy since 2016.

My background includes additional training in trauma-informed care and certification in mental health nutrition, reflecting my belief in the connection between emotional, physical, and relational well-being.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I'm passionate about helping people better understand themselves, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves more deeply. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person's unique experiences and needs. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and comfortable exploring both your challenges and strengths.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, psychodynamic principles, and strengths-based approaches to help you recognize patterns, explore underlying beliefs, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding.

I believe therapy should offer more than temporary relief. By combining deeper self-exploration with practical tools and strategies, my goal is to help you strengthen self-awareness, build emotional resilience, and create meaningful changes that extend beyond our sessions.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. I'll take time to understand what brings you to therapy, your personal history, current challenges, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

We'll explore your goals, discuss what has or hasn't been helpful in the past, and begin identifying patterns or experiences that may be contributing to your concerns. I'll also explain my approach, answer any questions, and collaborate with you on a direction for treatment.

My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path forward. There's no pressure to share everything at once. We'll work at a pace that feels comfortable while remaining intentional about your growth and well-being.
