Great to meet you!

Hi! I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience helping adults to reduce anxiety, cope with trauma, and navigate life's difficulties. I have extensive experience treating anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, phase of life issues, career stress, relationship concerns, and many other issues which might bring you to therapy. I practice with a commitment to diversity and am LGBTQIA affirming. I know that finding the right match in a therapist is important, and I want you to get the care that is right for you.

Many of my clients have a history of trauma or grief and are navigating difficult life circumstances like career stress, parenting, or relationship concerns. They are often high achievers, trying to take on the world, make big decisions, and still have time for themselves. I specialize in helping folks regain a sense of control in their lives.

While it's normal to wonder whether talking to a therapist can really make a difference, many people feel a sense of relief from making that first connection and finding out that there really is a path to feeling better. I want to help you feel hopeful again. Call or message me and let's talk about how.

My approach to therapy

I conduct therapy from an eclectic theoretical framework which uses evidenced based methods with a focus on empathy, exploration, and relationship building. My goal is to empower you to be in the driver's seat of your own life story.

What you can expect from me

It takes bravery to reach out and start therapy, and knowing what to expect can help make the process less scary. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to new clients where we can discuss your needs and your questions to decide if I'm a good match for you. If so, we can schedule our first 55-minute session, where you can tell me more about your current situation and your goals (for example, to feel better, to reduce anxiety, to keep trauma from impacting relationships with others). Together, we'll come up with a plan for therapy - like a road map to get you where you want to go. Since therapy is about you and what you need, we can always make adjustments to the plan as we go!
