Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 7 years of experience as a mental health professional and 13 years supporting children, families, and adults in a variety of settings. I affirm BIPOC, AAPI, Latinx, LGBTQ+ clients. I utilize a culturally responsive, collaborative, and compassionate approach to therapy in an effort to foster hope, healing, and resilience in Black women and teens, and other communities of color experiencing difficulties managing the complexities of anxiety and trauma.

I also support teens who are struggling with anxiety, identity, school stress, or just figuring out who they are in a world that doesn’t always see them clearly. I show up with patience, respect, and a deep belief in their voice and potential.

Many of my clients are high-functioning but tired and dealing with burnout, life transitions, or quiet shifts that feel heavy. Therapy doesn’t have to be a last resort; it can be a space to breathe, reflect, and realign. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need a space that feels safe enough to start.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and cultural responsiveness. I use an integrative approach specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play-based interventions, mindfulness practices, expressive arts, and a holistic lens to support healing in a way that feels real and relevant to each client. I bring my full, human self into the room: affirming, direct, collaborative, and deeply present—so you can feel safe to do the same.

I believe that therapy works best when it reflects who you are. I meet clients where they are, without judgment or pressure to be anything other than themselves. Whether we're exploring anxious thoughts, emotional overwhelm, or navigating life transitions, I empower you to show up as your most authentic self. Together, we’ll build a space where growth is possible, healing is honored, and your voice leads the way.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect to feel safe, seen, and supported. We’ll take time to build rapport, explore the challenges you’re currently facing, and discuss your goals for therapy. Whether you're seeking practical tools or starting a deeper journey, you’ll leave feeling empowered and hopeful about the steps ahead.
