Great to meet you!

My name is Jess Jacupke, and I have been working as a therapist for 5 years. I am dedicated to supporting adults as they navigate the path back to themselves. My practice is built on the belief that everyone deserves a space where they can be truly seen and understood.

I have a Master’s in Counseling and specialized training in treating past painful events and trauma, as well as the anxiety, depression, dissociation, and substance use that often accompany that. I also work with a wide range of life challenges, including: healing from difficult relationships, anxiety and "system overload,” substance use issues, depression, chronic health issues, life transitions, and more.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, grounded, and deeply collaborative. I don't just see you as a "case"—I see you as a whole person whose system is doing its best to protect you. Because trauma and stress are held in the body, I use specialized tools like EMDR, Brainspotting, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), and parts work through Structural Dissociation Theory to help gently "re-tune" your nervous system at a biological level. We will work at a pace that feels safe for you, focusing on building resilience and agency rather than just managing symptoms. I also have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other practical tools to help manage the daily stressors of life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about connection and comfort. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can share your story at your own speed. We’ll talk about what’s been feeling heavy, but we’ll also focus on finding your immediate "anchors"—the tools and resources that help you feel a little safer and more grounded right now. You’ll leave our first meeting with a clear, supportive plan and the understanding that you don't have to carry this weight alone anymore.
