Great to meet you!

I love this work. Twenty plus years in the field of psychotherapy, from hospitals, residential treatment, schools, outpatient clinics, crisis teams, to professional teams and now private practice, I offer a wide range of interventions.

If you're seeking family systems (internal and external), Couples & communication, Parenting & Co-parenting, Individual therapy, Trauma-recovery using EMDR, Brainspotting, Mindfulness and CBT, and Art Therapy, to support in identity exploration and archetypes, I'll meet you where you're ready to work. Even if therapy is new to you, or a familiar practice, we'll find where you are and what's in the way of where you want to be.

My approach to therapy

Whether you're the type of learner who enjoys the mechanisms of what's happening in your brain and body, understanding the steps of your relationship dynamics, or the crisis of developmental stage your family is in, or if you just need to feel your own insight and relief in your body and life without the backstory--I'm here.

Maybe you're hitting the obstacles you just can't work around from this vantage point. Or you'd appreciate a clear path and support in creating goals for your health, wellness, and happiness. These are difficult times with unprecedented challenges to our brains, hearts, and relationships. You want to see your life and relationships improve in the midst of it all. You want to tame your unhelpful responses and understand how to stop repeating them. This is our work. And when we change what we can change, we change the world.

What you can expect from me

My clients develop skillful awareness of when a past circumstance, nervous system dysregulation, and unwanted patterns take over the present moment. They learn precisely how to heal the past when it interferes with life right here, right now. Our first session we're assessing fit, building trust, and locating ourselves at the beginning of the path to new healing.
