Great to meet you!

My name is Jessica. I am a licensed therapist with 16 years of experience providing individual, group, family, and couples counseling across acute, residential, and outpatient treatment settings. I am compassionate, non-judgmental, and supportive, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and meeting each client where they are. I strive to create a safe environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life's challenges, build resilience, and create a lasting, positive impact.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, fun, collaborative, practical, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I draw from several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Impact Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based treatment that is shown to be highly effective for trauma, compulsive behaviors, and other mental health concerns. ART uses eye movements and visual imagery replacement techniques to reduce trauma responses, intrusive thoughts, and emotional distress, often providing relief in a relatively short period of time. By integrating these approaches, I help clients identify unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, build emotional resilience, and demonstrate significant progress toward personal treatment goals.

What you can expect from me

The initial session is an opportunity for us to build rapport, discuss concerns, and explore goals for treatment. During this session, I will gather information about the client's personal history, current challenges, strengths, and any previous experiences with therapy or treatment. We will talk about the issues that are most important to the client. My goal is for each client to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful, with a clearer sense of how we can work together to help them achieve meaningful and lasting change.
